Announcing our Keynote Speaker: Jeff McManus
Jeff McManus is the Founder and Chief Cultivations Officer of The Jeff McManus Group. Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in Landscape and Ornamental Horticulture from Auburn University and is a Certified Arborist.
At the age of 37, the University of Mississippi hired Jeff McManus as the Director of the newly formed Landscape Services Department. As one of the most junior directors on campus, the immediate challenges that faced him were staggering - exceptionally low morale with an unacceptable lack of productivity. In many ways, the Ole Miss landscape services was actually an extreme example of the same problems facing many organizations then and today.
By cultivating the teams he led, his department increased results while also decreasing an already-tight budget. He did so by planting a thriving culture where each team member knew their role in maximizing their collective potential toward a bigger, more important purpose.
He now continues his work with the Jeff McManus Group helping others get more from their workforce by growing great teams.
Among his continued work in the community Jeff is also an author. Writing his first book in 2017, “Growing Weeders into Leaders.” He has now released his new west book “Cultivate” That just came out December 01, 2022.
