The Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) is partnering with award-winning landscape designer, author, APLD member, certified designer and industry influencer Nick McCullough, CPLD, FAPLD, to deliver an unforgettable experience at the 2026 APLD International Landscape Design Conference, taking place September 10–14, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio.
Known for his plant-forward designs, thoughtful craftsmanship, and passion for creating landscapes that connect people with nature, McCullough is helping shape a conference program that explores the future of landscape design. Attendees will gain practical insights into resilient landscapes, innovative planting strategies, sustainable design, and evolving business practices, including AI, that are redefining the profession.
One of the conference's signature experiences will be an exclusive evening reception hosted by Nick and his wife, Allison, in their private garden, giving attendees the rare opportunity to network and exchange ideas in one of the region's most inspiring residential landscapes.
The conference also features a full day of educational sessions led by respected industry experts, private behind-the-scenes tours of exceptional landscapes, curated garden visits, and optional pre- and post-conference events that showcase the beauty, innovation, and horticultural excellence of central Ohio.
