The new accessory adds soft architectural lighting to the sleek Razor form factor, offering integrators a new versatile way to combine premium audio performance with subtle outdoor illumination in a single, elegant installation.

Engineered to mount directly behind Razor speakers, the Razor Backlight features an elegant aluminum bracket with soft lighting positioned on both sides of the speaker. The result is a refined halo-style glow that enhances patios, decks, and outdoor entertainment areas while preserving the slim, discreet profile that defines the Razor family.

With the Razor Backlight, the speaker itself becomes a multifunctional architectural element, combining high-performance audio with subtle ambient lighting. The result enables integrators to deliver rich, evenly distributed outdoor sound while adding refined accent lighting, simplifying installation, and expanding creative design possibilities for outdoor living spaces.

True to Coastal Source’s reputation for rugged performance, the Razor Backlight is constructed from durable aluminum and meets or exceeds IP66 environmental testing standards. The accessory operates on 10–18VAC power and delivers a warm 3000K light output, ensuring reliable performance across demanding outdoor environments.

The new product is compatible with the full range of Coastal Source 200 and 300 Series Razor speakers, including the RZ210 2.5-Way Razor Speaker, RZ220 3-Way Razor Speaker, RZ310 High Power 3-Way Razor Speaker, RZ340 Razor Line Source Speaker, and RZ350 Razor Subwoofer. The Razor Backlight, now available in black and white finishes, expands the flexibility of the Razor ecosystem while maintaining the product family’s signature minimalist aesthetic.
